The Challenge
Social Katz came to us because they were launching a new social media marketing agency and knew they needed to stand out in a crowded market. As an agency filled with veteran social media marketers, this meant making a splash while also being mobile first. The challenge? How do we create a visual identity that embraces social (filled with puns, cat memes, and more than it's share of winks and nods) while also emphasizing the teams expertise?
The Solution
We came up with a bold, funny, and sophisticated brand that leans heavily into illustration while keeping the rest of the brand simple and direct. This includes a very simple color palate of a warm black, white, and salmon (please enjoy how deep the puns go) paired with a simple yet stylized font system. We set out to create visual world that flipped the unexpected while leaning into frameworks that made the brand and website easy to navigate.
